Mr. Mengeche Derso farms 15 hectares in the highlands of Gedeo together with his twelve children. With decades of farming experience, the family focuses on producing high quality coffee while enriching the soil with natural fertilizers and continuously improving their farm.
The Single Farmer Project connects individual Ethiopian producers with buyers seeking traceability, transparency and long-term relationships, giving farmers greater control over how their coffee is sold.
Recommended rest period: 2–3 weeks from the roast date.
